My basic background was in mathematics. Having received a B.S. summa cum laude, from Wilkes College, Wilkes-Barre, Pa. My first job was with Bell Telephone Labs in Holmdel, New Jersey during which time I received a M.S. degree (GPA 4.0/4.0) from Stevens Institute of Technology, Hoboken, NJ.. The next ten years were spent at IBM Endicott, NY in what can be best characterized as a position specializing in data management and network support except for a company sponsored sabbatical in 1983-85 at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia earning a Master’s of Science in Engineering. At Data General (1988-93), I was a project manager in the transaction processing product area, a porting manager for Ingres, and on-site representative at Oracle WHQ in Redwood Shores, CA. The 1990’s can be best characterized as working with database products: Ingres, Oracle and Informix, in a variety of roles these Corporations had with their hardware partners including porting, high end Fortune 100 company support, trade show content development, staff training, and consulting. I have some experience in SAP and Oracle applications having spent some time at SAP AG HQ in Walldorf, Germany and many years at Orcale HQ in Redwood Shores. At Intel, I was part of the Intel IA-32 C/C++ Compiler Team.

From 2002 on, while still maintaining a consulting practice, I became involved in business activities. In one case revitalizing an art gallery and in taking another company from concept to deployment.

In 2006, I was asked by the new Governor of the Pueblo of Nambé if I would serve as his Senior Advisor (2007-08). I was involved in researching Tribal history, cultural preservation activities, grant writing and administration.

In 2009, the then former Governor and I started Nambe Waterfalls Horseback Riding Company, LLC.
